There's a trade-off between playing at maximum output, which we were until Noble came on for the last 15 minutes, and staying injury free and ready for the next 90 minutes, which happens to be against fucking Liverpool, you great mincing blancmange with blonde dreadlocks. I'm sure you don't need Noble to carry that handbag as you promenade, Clifford, but there's something you don't seem to appreciate: what the players do on the pitch for 90 minutes is a whole different ball game.

So Clifford, you think we don’t need Noble slowing things up at the end of games because we can play full pelt high up the pitch for 90 mins in the League and in the Cup all season no problem at all.

Nobles is being used right by coming on to replace tired legs towards the end of games. This helps our ball retention and shields players from injury. It’s quite simple really unless of course you have this idea fix he’s crap, which is just divvy.

I thought Noble did fine at the end of the game, breaking up their play in midfield and making intelligent passes to maintain possession. He is fine when we do not need a goal, when you’re in the lead and players are tired. He is a good dynamo to bring on and put himself about and make the opposition work hard when they are struggling to do that.

A bit disappointing we let 2 goals in, but I think this was one our best attacking performances I’ve seen for a long time.
Can’t wait for Liverpool. It will be massive if get a result against them.

Yes Noble is finshed as a player but I'm sure behind the scenes he is fully engaged in everything in this season.
